Faux Falls isn't a natural wonder; it's a masterpiece of human engineering. The water is diverted from the meandering Mill Creek through an underground labyrinth beneath Brimley Ridge, only to let the water gracefully tumble over Faux Falls.

The culmination of this hydrological action takes place at Ken's Lake, where the water is stored, a vision conceived in the minds of early settlers who dared to dream big in the Moab wilderness. The project's completion, a testament to their perseverance, didn't materialize until the year 1981.
